Reminder to Register

Greetings, Fellow Dutch Cousins,

I wanted to take a moment to personally invite you to the 2026 Dutch Cousins Gathering in Frankfort, KY, and Harrodsburg, KY, this September 11-14, 2026.

You may have already heard about our event, but I just wanted to make sure all the bases were covered and no one fell through the cracks. I am emailing anyone who attended in 2022 and 2024 who has not registered as of Wednesday just to be sure.

I can tell you updates that are not on the attached PDF. On Friday, our own Brian Schuck and Vince Akers will be presenting on DNA and case studies involving some Dutch ancestry. In the evening, Eddie Price will be returning with his new “Christmas in the Colonies”, which includes a Dutch section. On Saturday morning, Lexington librarian and former Kentucky Genealogical Society president Johnna Waldon will be presenting on cemetery iconography. On Saturday afternoon, Andre Faul, of Riverside Farms, will be returning from 2022. Our Saturday after-dinner presentation will be by current Woodford County librarian and former head SAR and KHS librarian Cheri Daniels on the Draper Manuscripts and related Dutch information.

As of last week, we have 42 attendees. Please join us!

If you have any questions, please let me know. I look forward to seeing you in September.

As Always
Paul Gregory
President, Dutch Cousins of Kentucky
